Jan Sparrow studied drawing and illustration at St Albans Art College and Harrow School of Art. Following her degree, Jan spent ten years working in commercial illustration for books, magazines and advertising.

Now living in Cirencester, Jan specialises in portraits of people and pets. The warm earthiness and dappled light of the Cotswolds countryside are reflected in her animal paintings.
